Tsutsugamushi disease in eruptive disease or FUO(fever of unknown origin)
We experienced 10 cases of Tsutsugamushi disease occurring in Pusan and Yangsan area during the period of December in 1994, which were diagnosed clinically, and serologically by passive hemagglutination test.
@ES The following results were obtained.

laboratory
findings were positive CRP and incresed LDH. Anemia, leukopenia, hematuria and increased SGOT/SGPT were observed in the minor. The diagnosis was performed by passive hemagglutination test and it's positive rate was 90%. All patients showed god

We concluded that Tsutsugamushi disease can be diagnosed and treated successfully based on the clinical symptomes and signs only prior to serological confirmation.
